Studio NiCHE. was invited to represent Malta at the Venice Architecture & Design Biennale 2025 with “Reform”, an immersive installation exhibited at Palazzo Mora from 8 May to 23 November 2025. Exploring the intersection of sustainability, material innovation, and spatial experience, the installation transforms discarded materials; including sea-recovered plastics and joinery offcuts from the studio’s own process; into sculptural, design-driven elements. Inspired by sensory engagement and communal interaction, Reform challenges conventional perceptions of value, beauty, and utility, encouraging a more intentional and tactile relationship with the spaces and objects that surround us.
