Perched in a location boasting stunning vistas, this three-bedroom apartment in Malta is a testament to how meticulous interior design can transform a standard configuration into a sculptural,
light-filled sanctuary. By prioritizing the interaction between the interior and the external landscape.
This project achieves a seamless balance between modern luxury and everyday functionality.

Sculpting the View
The layout of the apartment was completely reimagined to favor the home’s greatest asset: the natural light and panoramic views.
Strategic Orientation: The living area features a sofa positioned specifically to allow residents to look inward toward the home or outward to enjoy the scenery and the television.
The TV as Art: Rather than a bulky entertainment center, the design utilizes a custom black glass base for the TV. Positioned in the center of the room, this sculptural element is designed to remain translucent to light, ensuring the view remains unobstructed.
Invisible Technology: When not in use, the television ceases to be a focal point, allowing the architectural language of the room to take over.

A Study in Material Weight
One of the most striking features of the home is the use of marble to create an
"illusion of volume".
Suspended Solidity: Large marble elements are displaced and angled to create the sensation of a solid cube suspended in the air.
Textural Contrast: To balance the coolness of the stone, the design introduces a high-contrast palette of light and dark woods, such as Oak and Arauco, creating a rich, layered environment.
Integrated Architecture: High doors and rich materials allow the private areas to feel like a part of the open-plan space rather than closed-off corridors.
Functional Minimalism in the Kitchen
The clients desired a large, clean kitchen that utilized the full volume of the space.
Hidden Storage: To maintain an "ordered" aesthetic, the kitchen features tall units and a specialized section for appliances that remains hidden from view.
Custom Craftsmanship: Almost every surface, including the kitchen island and dining areas,
was personalized to ensure a meticulous match across the material palette.

Tailored Solutions for Small Spaces
The project excels in using bespoke furniture to solve spatial challenges.
For the terrace which is long but narrow
custom-designed chairs were created to provide maximum comfort without sacrificing a clean, slim profile.
In the more private quarters, the atmosphere shifts to one of total equilibrium.
By using travertine for both the walls and floors, the designers created a "shadow" ambiance; a clean, neutral retreat enhanced by architectural lighting.

Experience the Transformation
From the custom marble volumes to the light-guiding glass partitions, this Maltese apartment redefines the potential of modern apartment living.
It is a space where the concept of light and flow is perfectly tailored to the people
who live within its walls.
